City of Newburgh police are now saying there will be no press conference.
Previously a police spokesman had said that police were planning to hold a press conference at 11 Benkard Ave. in front of the home of Marc Bookal, 4, who went missing from him home at 1:20 p.m. Monday.
His mom's boyfriend, Cory Byrd, 30 was charged Tuesday with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, and violation of parole. He remains in custody.
